Great place to be and appreciate the transparency about the Affordable Care Act. Any reviewer who thinks prices don't go up just because they don't tell you about it is pretty foolish. The lunches here cost money because there is no such thing as a free lunch. Employers who have to pay health insurance either pass those costs onto customers or reduce salaries.

Gator's is gracious enough to host my poker group on Thursday nights. I also go to the Gator's in Brownwood to watch sports....I was very disappointed with their menu change. I understand that it's bar food and for that, they are decent. BUT, they no longer serve jalapeno egg rolls. I had just discovered these wonderful yummy s (I had them once!) and they changed the menu! Also, here is a little known fact, you can have 1/2 order of the nachos (as they are huge and become soggy, but if you just get a 1/2 order, not so bad) and you can have jalapenos added to the chicken quesadillas! I like jalapenos!

Great location and nice atmosphere. The villages is great place to eat. Food is good . I eat here alot. The Service from employees is hit or miss. Today we had a nightmare older black women with no clue how to be waitress. It's good place. But hit or miss is perfect for service. But great place to come. Please eat here.

When we went for dinner the place was not busy where the booths are, however there was some convention going on near the door and very loud. Our waitress was new but attentive. The food was subpar and expected for chain restaurants. I was not impressed.

Hanging out at Gators with about 60 MSU Alums watching MSU vs the Ducks. Great gathering place for a group of fans. Excellent food and drinks, and the service is really good. We've got a private room with plenty of servers to keep the food and drinks flowing. All HD TVs are a nice touch. Overall, a great experience. Looking forward to the rest of the season at Gators.

Great wings and chili dogs. On Monday drafts are $1. The restaurant is new and the interior is well done. Located in the Village of Brown Wood the mountain theme is enjoyable. The only negative I could find is when the outside awning is open to the bar, it becomes fairly warm in the dining room and cigarette smoke wafts in from the outside :(

I went here at around 9 o'clock on a Sunday and I was seated immediately. I ordered the boneless buffalo wings. The wings tasted amazing! They were spicy but not too spicy, they tasted fresh, and the temperature was just right. The waiter was really nice. Overall I really like the atmosphere and the food I will be back before the end of my business trip.

The outside, place looks beautiful. My children and I were really excited about eating here. After getting our seating, things immediately starting to look a little down. It took 12 minutes just to get a drink order placed and brought to our table. Once the waitress brings our drinks to our table, she stumbles and accidentally spilled the tea all over me. Now I'm sitting at a table wet shirt, jean shorts, socks and shoes. I did talk to the manager which I told him, service so far was bad - slow and now I'm extremely unhappy about being soak with drinks. They did speed up the process of food after this - which was mainly a hit and miss. The apps were the only good part of the meal, my chicken and waffles - the chicken was overcook as well as my daughter's chicken finger meal. However, gator tail and pork n chips did taste well *this being our appetizer. When I did receive the bill - I wasn't expecting to be comp for entire meal or freebies - but was disappointed they didn't offer to "have my clothes clean, offer my meal free - or even a free dessert" So we ended up having to leave our day short in the villages so I could go home and change. Overall - food - not bad Service - very disappointing For management - in the future, if a waitress spills something on a customer - take a second to: 1. offer dry cleaning 2. make it up to them.

We went to eat there about 7:30 pm , very slow the service was so so the food was so-so and no atmosphere whatsoever I will not go back ! Not sure what happened but used to be busy and somewhat nice , very disappointed !

While driving to my hotel I found Gator's and since it was late I was so happy to grab take out available late at night. Gator's is open until 2 am. While I waited the hostess kept me company and was talkative and friendly. My crab and shrimp dip appetizer was around $8. I also ordered an American burger which, granted was greasy but way better than the other options for late night. The burger comes with a side and is $9. The menu has salads, wings, seafood, burgers, ribs and fried small bites. Typical prices are $8 to $12. Overall, the food was okay but nothing above average. It was a good place to kick back and enjoy food with family or friends.

Clams were so-so and spouse had crab cake -ok. Wine list is terrible. Get beer. Cabernet tasted like Lambrusco ... Yuk. I'd give it a three because waitress steered me in right direction.

Believe it or not, this sports bar is KIDS FRIENDLY! Not only they have a kids menu, but their food is pretty good! I was there last Friday with my niece and nephew and there was a "magician", they loved it!

Great drink specials. Salads surprisingly good. Boneless wings not as spicy as expected. All in all good bar food with great prices.

Food was pretty good. Service was just okay. Hubby had wings - said they were just okay. My monte cristo sandwich was yummy. Glad we weren't a bigger party. Service friendly but lacking.

Gators is just what you expect: a fun place to come for wings, beer, and sports. We visit my girlfriends grandparents every 2 years in Lady Lake, and always come to this bar. Since we started coming four years ago, we've always had the same bartender. She is AWESOME and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy. The place is open till 2 am, and has some of the cheapest drinks I've ever seen. The only downside is that some of the "regulars" are creepy and will hit on every young girl that walks in. (This is not fun when you go with your girlfriend and little sister...) if you can avoid the creepers and find your own place at the bar with friends, you'll love this place. We will definitely be back!

I've eaten here a few times & the food & service has always been good.

I would have given this place four stars just on their drink specials...WOW. Cheap cheap cheap which means happy happy happy Ash. But, I have to say the wings were a bit of a disappointment. Other than that, this is a great place to go watch a game when I'm in town. It's a little bit of a pet peeve when places charge extra for blue cheese/ranch and celery when you order wings...I mean, isn't that part of the 'wing' situation? C'mon people. On a Friday, we enjoyed a couple mugs of $1 beer, chilled on the patio and watched the debauchery happening in the Town Square across the street. Pitchers I believe were $5.50. (Word!) And the service was pretty good. Definitely would go back for a few cheap drinks.

I was not impressed with this location. The Gator Tators were great, but my and my daughter's burgers cooked medium were definable well done and our guests medium rare had barely the slightest if pink centers. Or server was friendly but hardly attentive even though we were his only table. Won't be returning.

Great place for drinks and watching a gm. Well priced. Good happy hour specials. Decent food. Everyone there is super nice. Could use extra bartenders when gets crowded or I would of gave it 5 stars. Waited for a drink many times but couldn't fault the bartender as they usually only have 1 working. Will def go back for a gm or happy hour.

6/30/2011 - The food was absolutly awful - I ordered Calamar - send it back as you could not even chew it - was like rubber and burned - The waiter comes back and SAID - THE COOK said it wasn't over cooked . Needles to say they made another order which was awful - The FF were like limp noodles and old - I will never go back here again - 1st time too, I live in this area and this definately will be talked about how bad the food and service was - We, had ice tea - Maybe cheap for drinks - that way you can't tell how awful the food is. BAD BAD BAD

Avoid this place! My golf group use to have lunch at the Sumter Landing location. I asked the waitress for a little extra sauce for my chicken parmagian sandwich..she told me that she would have to charge me 50 cents. What? She then said at night they can waive the charge, but becuse the sandwich is so cheap on the lunch menu ($5.00) they have to charge. Nonsense....my golf group now eats elsewhere.
